How much does it cost to compete?

There is a $475 entry fee for the 2024 Excellence in Construction awards competition. $75 will be due when you complete your "intent to compete" form and the remaining balance of $400 will be due when you complete your submission. Please note that both of these fees are non-refundable.

What projects are eligible to compete?

Projects must have been completed between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2024. Since a Georgia competition was not held in 2023, you may submit projects already entered in an ABC National EIC competition, whether or not the project won an award.

What companies are eligible to compete?

You must be an ABC of Georgia general contractor or specialty contractor to compete. Joint ventures are eligible as long as at least one firm is a member. Please note that entries must originate from the member company.

Is my project eligible if it was built outside of Georgia?

Yes - projects need not have been built in Georgia but must have been managed by the office of an ABC of Georgia member company.

Our company had a fatality this year, can we still compete?

Any company with a safety-related fatality is ineligible. Please also note that any project with a safety-related fatality is also ineligible, regardless of the contractor trade.
